Victorian Trade Card - CLARK'S O.N.T. SPOOL COTTON THREAD
Nice, large scenic card on heavy stock showing a pretty pastoral scene identified as "HUDSON RIVER, FROM WEST POINT". It shows a man with an umbrella standing on a bluff, overlooking a number of small sailboats and steamboats on the river.
The back advertises Clark's O.N.T. Spool Cotton as the "BEST THREAD FOR HAND & MACHINE SEWING".
Size: approx. 5" x 7½"
Date: Not dated.
Lithographer: Not identified.
Condition: Very good, I'd say. The card is lightly soiled with just slightly "bumped" corners. The back does, however, carry considerable glue residue, along with a few pieces of extraneous paper and a couple small spots of surface paper loss. The lower left corner has a small crease. (Please see scans.)
MULTIPLE ITEM SHIPPING DISCOUNT: I will ship up to 4 cards for the single base shipping charge shown. For purchases of more than 4 cards, the shipping charge will increase by just a small increment for every 4 additional cards.
