Here's a nice old postage stamp issued by Germany in the 19th Century. It carries a 2½ groschen denomination in the embossed Imperial Eagle design. I believe that it's Scott Catalog #27 (w/ 2½ groschen surcharge), issued in 1874. However, I'm not an expert on these, so please use the scans to verify my identification for yourself.
Condition: Used, with significant flaws (torn upper corners and ¼" closed tear in bottom edge), centered as shown. (Please see scans.)
