Here's an interesting vintage scenic postcard looking down Tremont Street in Boston, Massachusetts. Prominent in the scene to the left are the Park Street Church and the entrance to the Rapid Transit Train station.

The photo, by Stephen Warner, appears to have been taken on a Sunday morning as it shows quite a few women in their "Sunday best" heading to or from church. The assortment of 1950s automobiles in the scene, almost all of which appear to be taxicabs, is quite entertaining.

The card is identified as "Natural Color" by Mike Roberts, Berkeley 2, California. It was Published for Bromley & Company, Inc., Boston 16, Massachusetts. It carries the identification codes "BM86" and "C7881".

Size: approx. 3½" x 5½"

Date: Not dated, but clearly from the 1950s.

Condition: Very good, I'd say. The card is unused, with only very slight edge wear. There's just bit of foxing on the back, along the left edge. There are very faint diagonal impressions across the corners from storage in a standard postcard album. (Please see scans.)

MULTIPLE ITEM SHIPPING DISCOUNT: I will ship up to 4 cards for the single base shipping charge shown. For purchases of more than 4 cards, the shipping charge will increase by just a small increment for every 4 additional cards.
