Description: Here's a nice vintage standard-sized matchbook cover from the Madeira Beach Barber Shop, located on Gulf Boulevard in Madeira Beach, Florida. It had 4 barbers, Wayne Bailey, Ralph R. Cade, Ed. Conlon and Phil. Lowe, and claimed that "PLEASING YOU PLEASES US". The phone number was given in the old style as "WA. 1-8079".
There's no printing on the inside.

Date: Not dated, but the style of the phone number probably places it in the 1950s, or perhaps early 1960s.
Condition: Good, I'd say. The cover is just a bit soiled but the front is significantly faded. The striker strip shows little or no actual use, but there's noticeable damage to the striker strip area, likely from rough removal of the staple that held the matches. There's also an additional set of staple holes which pass through the striker strip and both sides of the cover. (Please see scans.)
