Description: Here's a nice vintage standard-sized matchbook cover from Phil Johnson's restaurant, located on Waukegan Road at Lake-Cook County Line Road, in Northbrook, Illinois. The place served "JUST GOOD FOOD". The phone number was given in the old style as "CRESTWOOD 2-0610".
There's no printing on the inside.

Date: Not dated, but the style of the phone number probably places it in the 1950s, or perhaps early 1960s.
Condition: Good, I'd say. The cover is a bit soiled and the striker strip is heavily used. There's also some damage to the striker strip area, likely from rough removal of the staple that held the matches, along with an additional set of staple holes which pass through the striker strip and both sides of the cover.
