Die-cut Victorian Trade Cards - CHOCOLAT POULAIN
Cute and colorful pair of die-cut French trade cards featuring children. One shows a girl with a parasol standing on a rock while a boy stands ankle deep in water, holding a string attached to a toy sailboat. The other shows a girl holding a small wicker basket while a boy kneels down to pick some wildflowers.
These cards are printed on a more lightweight card stock than most other trade cards, perhaps more like heavy paper.
The backs are blank.
Size: approx. 5" x 3"
Date: Not dated.
Lithographer: Not identified.
Condition: Very good, I'd say. The cards are mildly rippled, due to soaking from a scrapbook page, and both still have some scrap paper remnants on the back. There's a small crease across the upper tip of the parasol. (Please see scans.)
MULTIPLE ITEM SHIPPING DISCOUNT: I will ship up to 4 cards for the single base shipping charge shown. For purchases of more than 4 cards, the shipping charge will increase by just a small increment for every 4 additional cards.
