Here's a nice vintage scenic postcard featuring the Old State House in Boston, Massachusetts.
The description on the back reads:
"THE OLD STATE HOUSE AT WASHINGTON AND
STATE STREETS WHERE JOHN HANCOCK WAS
INAUGURATED FIRST GOVERNOR OF MASSA-
CHUSETTS AND IN FRONT OF WHICH THE
BOSTON MASSACRE TOOK PLACE IS NOW THE
HOME OF THE BOSTONIAN SOCIETY."
The card is identified as "Plastichrome", by COLOURPICTURE PUBLISHERS, Inc., Boston 15, Mass. It was published by United Art Co., Inc. It carries the code numbers "P296" at the top center and "11" at the bottom left.
Size: approx. 5½" x 3½"
Date: Not dated, but probably from the 1950s.
Condition: Very good, I'd say. The card is unused, with very only slight edge wear. The colors on the front are fresh and bright, but the back has a couple small spots and a rubbed area. (Please see scans.) The corners have mild diagonal impressions due to storage in a standard postcard album.
