Description: Here's a nice pair of over-sized matchbook covers from Clyde's, a restaurant and bar that had locations in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. and in Columbia, Maryland.
The Clyde's of Georgetown cover has no printing on the inside, but the Clyde's of Columbia provides the addresses of not only the Georgetown location but also of the Old Ebbitt Grill, also in D.C.

Actual Size: approx. 2" x 2" (closed)
Date: Not dated, but likely from the 1970s or, at the latest, early 1980s.
Condition: Very good, I'd say. The covers are just lightly soiled and the striker strips show no evidence of actual use. However, the bottom portion of the green cover appears to have a mild bend to it. (Please see scans.).
