Victorian Trade Card - STANDARD SCREW FASTENED BOOTS and SHOES
Nice old advertising card featuring a pretty little girl who's quoted as saying: "My Papa is going to Buy me a Pair of Standard Screw Fastened Shoes. He Says They are Best in the World." (I don't think she looks too happy about it, though.)
The back of the card carries typical advertising information for the product, as well as for "BUNTON'S CELEBRATED SCHOOL SHOES"..All are offered for sale by N. BATES & SON, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

Lithographer: Not identified.
Condition: Good to very good, I'd say. The front of card is quite clean and fresh, but the back has four spots of glue damage from scrapbook mounting.. The edges and corners show little wear, and there are no creases or tears. (Please see scans.)
