Here are 2 very pretty postcards featuring the Bellingrath Gardens and Home near Mobile, Alabama. One card features a swan and the other has lots of poinsettias. Both cards have somewhat scalloped edges.
The descriptions on the backs read:
1) Bellingrath's outdoor display of Chrysanthemums. The largest anywhere, is highlighted by cascades from the Rustic Bridge over Mirror Lake.
2) Interior view of the Conservatory located in the Rose Garden during Poinsettia time.
The cards were both published by Ocean Springs Distributors of Miss. & Ala., Ocean Springs, Mississippi. The first one shown bears the code numbers OS-24, while the second one is marked OS-26.
Size: 4" x 5¾"
Date: Not dated, but I'm pretty sure they're from the 1970s.
Condition: Very fine, I'd say, with just some slight edge wear on both cards.
