Here's a very nice unused postcard featuring a street car on the St. Charles line in New Orleans.

The description on the back reads:

Built in 1923-24, the last "conventional" street cars in regular service in the U.S., operate on the St. Charles line. Railed vehicles first appeared on this line in 1835, and electric trolleys in 1893. Color photo by Grant L. Robertson

The card is identified as being a Mirro-Krome card by H.S. Crocker Co., Inc., of Atlanta, Georgia, published by Grant L. Robertson, Metairie, Louisiana. It bears the code number GLR-C-463.

Size: approx. 4" x 6"

Date: Not dated, but I think the card is from the 1970s or 1980s.

Condition: Very fine, I'd say, with just a small crease at the upper right corner. (Please see scans.)

MULTIPLE ITEM SHIPPING DISCOUNT: I will ship up to 4 cards for the single base shipping charge shown. For purchases of more than 4 cards, the shipping charge will increase by just a small increment for every 4 additional cards.
