Description: Here's a very nice vintage one ounce ANONA Brand spice tin containing Pure Mace. It was packaged by Arbuckle Brothers of Chicago and New York. One side of the tin also lists 18 different spices produced under the Anona Brand.
The tin seems to be at least half full, I'd say, and the contents are still dry and powdery.

Date: Not dated.
Condition: Very good, I'd say. The tin shows just minor surface wear (see photos for detail) but appears to have darkened with age. (The photo flash actually makes it look much lighter than the rich dark brown seen by the eye.) The top is a bit dirty, but the slide moves easily to either pouring position (should you wish to sample any of the remaining contents).
