Here's a very useful little booklet emphasizing the Method approach to mixing drinks. In addition to teaching fundamentals - the correct tools, liquors, and glasses - it categorizes drinks by the 3 methods used to make them - Pour, Stir, or Shake. (For you James Bond aficionados, martinis fall into the "Stir" category.)
In addition to more than 90 drink recipes, it also has a section with several hors d'oeuvres and appetizer recipes, four different punch bowl suggestions and tips on how to be a "good host".
Pictured throughout the booklet are examples of various bottles of Hiram Walker liquor (which might be a useful tool for any collector trying to date such bottles).
