Here's an interesting vintage post card featuring a bikini-clad bathing beauty lying on the beach at Atlantic City, N.J. It's captioned "REFRESHING" and invites the recipient to "Come and Join Me Here in Atlantic City, N.J." The front also bears the number "187" at the upper left corner and "© CURT TEICH & CO., INC." at the lower right.
The back credits the "JERSEY SUPPLY COMPANY" of Atlantic City, and states that it's a 'GENUINE CURTEICH-CHICAGO "C.T. ART-COLORTONE" POST CARD'.
The card was sent from someone named "Myra Alice" to "Mrs. Hulda Conn" of Bethesda, Maryland, with a typical "Wish you were here" message.
Size: approx. 3½" x 5½"
Date: Postmarked 1948.
Condition: Very good, I'd say. The card is clearly used, but is clean and fresh, with just some light edge and corner wear. (Please see scans.)
