Here's an interesting vintage postcard featuring the Wash Shop of the Shaker Museum in Old Chatham, N.Y. According to the description on the back, the Shakers invented the washing machine in 1858.
The card is identified as "Photography by: L. H. FROHMAN, Bronxville, N. Y. It is marked as number "44" and carries the identification code "ICS-61788".
Size: approx. 3½" x 5½"
Date: Not dated, but probably from the 1950s.
Condition: Excellent, I'd say. The card is unused, with very only slight edge wear. (Please see scans.)
MULTIPLE ITEM SHIPPING DISCOUNT: I will ship up to 4 cards for the single base shipping charge shown. For purchases of more than 4 cards, the shipping charge will increase by just a small increment for every 4 additional cards.
