Here's a very attractive antique postcard featuring several deer in a forest of what looks like eucalyptus trees and ferns. In the foreground is a small stream or pond. It's titled "A FOREST GLADE 5622".
There doesn't appear to be any information on the card as to artist or publisher.
The card is postmarked from Warrenton, Missouri, on November 20, 1909, with a receiving postmark of Chesterfield, Missouri, on November 21, 1909. It's addressed to a Miss Evelyn Mueller in Chesterfield, Mo., from someone named Ida.
Size: approx. 5-3/8" x 3-1/2"
Date: Postmarked 1909 but the card itself has no copyright date.
Condition: Very good, I'd say. It's obviously postally used but is only lightly soiled, with just slightly worn edges and corners. (Please see scans.)
