Victorian Trade Card - CHICOREE EXTRA A LA BELLE JARDINIERE - C. BERIOT - Lille, France
Cute little card featuring a warmly dressed young blond girl, wearing a hat and muff, walking across what appears to be a rather rickety wooden footbridge in winter.
The back is covered with advertising (in French, of course) for the company's product.

Condition: Good to very good, I'd say. The front of this card is generally only lightly soiled, but there's a small bit of something stuck to it just above the railing of the bridge. There's also a small scrape in the bottom margin. The back has a moderate amount of glue staining and a closed surface tear. The edges and corners are just slightly worn. (Please see scans.)
